Vendor Performance Management

Job Description: 

  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance metrics such as quality of product, payment terms, delivery timeliness, vendor financial stability, and compliance with contractual agreements. 
  • Develop and maintain vendor performance scorecards and reports to track performance trends and identify areas of improvement including service level agreement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, and quality assurance, to establish performance criteria and goals for vendors. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews (periodic) and meetings with vendors to discuss performance metrics, address issues, and develop action plans for improvement. 
  • Actively coordinate with users to obtain general vendor performance information. 
  • Identify root causes of performance issues and implement corrective actions to address deficiencies and enhance vendor performance. 
  • Negotiate and implement performance improvement plans with underperforming vendors, including setting targets, timelines, and performance incentives. 
  • Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to ensure that vendor performance is aligned with contractual obligations and terms. 
  • Continuously assess vendor capabilities and capacity to meet evolving business needs and requirements. 
  • Identifying potential vendors to support the company’s new business opportunities. 
  • Conduct audits regularly off-site or on-site depending on the selected vendors based on the company’s needs. 
  • Monitoring Dashboard for Purchase Orders. 
  • Development and setup of Dashboard to control Vendor performance  
  • Providing reports on various aspects of Vendor performance  

Requirement: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor performance management. 
  • Knowledge of SAP. 
  • Skills: Microsoft Office, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software for vendor data management, analytical thinking. 
  • Very good communication, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills to interact with various teams and external vendors.
